Haven Beach Motel

My husband & I were here for 3 nights in Mid Aug. & loved every minute! I have been coming for several summers along with other members of the family and their kids. You cannot beat this motel for the value. The rooms are clean & comfortable. The grounds & pool are well maintained. The owners are always so accommodating. I have also also stayed in the off-season & very consistently a very positive experience.

I had the pleasure of meeting the man who I think was the owner at the front desk after my bike broke down on Beach Ave. I was without my cell phone and decided to take a chance to walk in and ask to use the phone. He was the kindest, most generous and sweet gentleman. He was nice enough to let me use his cell phone for a ride home. Thank you so very much for your kindness! If I ever need a place to stay in LBI I would be sure to definitely give him my business! Thanks again !

This was my first time here, but my daughter’s grandmother has taken her a few times before. They love it and I see why. It’s in a wonderful location, viewing the sunset from here is perfect. The pool is heated & clean. The whole motel is clean. Our room was very neat, well stocked & we had no issues. The owners are very kind. I felt very comfortable here. We will be back.

I was able to book a reservation last min (a week out) for two. The price was good/reasonable compared to the other options on the Island. Some nice perks was being able to borrow beach passes for the duration of our stay & the pool. I would give 5 stars but there was a loose tile above the toilet (that we just tried not touch/move/not make worse) and the lamp & the outlet near the bed were temperamental (we eventually figured out to get them to work). We stayed in the Shamrock /#19 room.

It was a last minute Memorial Day weekend gateway plan and everywhere they had 3 nights room available. After requesting to the representative of Haven Beach Motel he was kind enough to let us book a room for 2 nights, charged $165/nights. We could park our car right in front of our room and it was also very quiet and easy beach available.

I've stayed here on my solo February birding vacations to LBI and Barnegat Light State Park three times now and I've always found it to be just what I needed, and the laid back and amiable sibling hosts, Bill and Dennis, are just great! Going to LBI in February during off-season is a peaceful experience I would recommend it to anyone who hates summer crowds! The motel itself is what you would expect for a small motel...nothing fancy...but certainly clean overall and with fresh linens and towels and functional furniture. The bed in room 18 was very comfortable and the four pillows were great as well. The TV has great cable service with all the expected channels, the microwave was clean and works just fine, and the large in-room refrigerator/freezer was able to hold my food and beverages with room to spare. The bathroom is small but clean and the shower is a blast...literally...the pressure there is amazing! There are plenty of outlets to plug your chargers and laptops into and the bedside lamps are perfect for your bedtime reading. My only issue is that the WiFi is poor, but my phone worked perfectly as a hotspot for my laptop so it wasn't really an issue for me. Overall, I like the place a lot and I've recommended it since the first year I stayed there. If you're in to "fancy", skip it, but if you want a nice clean place that gives you all your basics and with nearby Wawa and package stores within short driving distance, this is the spot! :-) ~Chuck S. When you think of beach motels you think of shabby rooms with tile floors and no amenities but Haven Beach is different. The rooms are nice and clean, they're carpeted and come with AC units that actually work and they're well stocked with all the things you'd expect. The prices are very fair and the employees are all very kind and helpful.

We’ve been coming to this motel for over 20 years, starting when our kids were just five years old. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Every visit brings back great memories, and it’s amazing to see how the place has kept its charm over the years. We’re grateful for all the wonderful times we’ve had here and look forward to many more. Highly recommend!
